A client has kindly notified me, including providing links to more information, about recent legislation regarding “gift certificates”. Unfortunately after a preliminary reading of the information provided, it looks like I am going to have to discontinue my practice of offering gift certificates for sale.
Everyone who loves animals is intrigued, often fascinated, even mesmerized, by wildlife. The opportunity to interact with wild animals is a rare and amazing experience that many people, when presented with same, seem to have trouble resisting.
August 2010 edition of Creature Thoughts newsletter from Gazehound’s Animal Communication
I’ve updated the poll on gazehound.com and would love for everyone to pay the site a visit and express their opinion of the matter. It’s located in the left hand menu column, and should prove a very quick-click visit.
In the past couple of months, I have had a number of my clients, people who are in no way connected to one another, ask me the same question: “Do you also do people readings?”
Working with wildlife has been an incredibly rewarding experience over these past three or four years. I’ve learned so much, in so many ways, not the least that communicating with wild animals is a very different experience from talking to animals who’ve been raised, as have their ancestors, under the care of human beings.
I’m just like everyone else, when it comes to my own animals. Although I would like to say they’re perfect furry friends, who never misbehave, who never give me headaches or worries, I’d be fibbing if I did so. When I’ve confided in friends about some of the issues I experience with my pets, they often ask me, “Why don’t you just talk to them?”
My response is usually, “Do you talk to your kids?”
Mother’s Day Special on Gift Certificates back by popular request, and announcing our move “up the hill”.
The March issue of Creature Thoughts was not published, as you know, because on the 26th of February, I lost my Dad. It has, as I’m sure is no surprise, been a rocky month. Not only have our family been dealing with the pain of such a loss, we have been battling bureaucracy, chasing down legal loose ends, and attempting (not always successfully) to put all of the overwhelming aspects of life in some semblance of order. In our self-centered human way, as preoccupied as we are, it might be easy to forget that there is another victim of grief left behind.
My Dad’s cat, Missie.

The Full Moon and Animal Behavior
On the morning of January 31st, a day before this newsletter was due to be published, I posted to my Facebook profile that I was having a hard time thinking of an article for it. My friend Lin responded: “How about the link between a full moon and animal behaviour?” That sounded like a great idea to me.
