| “Blue eyes holding back the tears, holding back the pain.”[Elton John] The blue eyes are his, but the pain is mine. His is gone now. “Fen” came to us in 1992, and for several years was our stud cat at Moonlyte Siamese. Various “life circumstances” forced our cattery to close, but the girls and Fen remained with us as beloved (neutered) pets. Cancer took our Fen from us at the far-too-young age of nine. Fen left a legacy behind, having sired several litters. His kittens live on, each a little piece of him, in their loving homes. They bring joy to their families, and that is a fine legacy indeed. Very fitting for a boy who brought our own family so much joy. |

The LegacyA montage of some of Fen’s children. Clockwise from top left: Sascha (chocolate point male, out of Sachet, who returned home to us after his life-time owner passed away); Kama (seal point male, out of Sachet); “Air Raid” (the kitten’s real name was “Bayberry”, but he inherited his Daddy’s fantabulous “Pure Siamese” voice. Red point male, out of Pree); Samantha and Jasmine (seal tortie point females, out of Pree), Mackenzie (red point male, out of Vogue); Jeffrey and Rosebud (red point male and female, out of Pree). It must seem like Pree had a “slew” of litters by Fen. However, Samantha, Air Raid, Jeffrey and Rosebud are all litter mates. (Pictures of the mothers of these kittens can be found on the Four-Leggeds Page.)

Goodbye my pink-cheeked, blue-eyed muscle-boy. Fly high, fly far, and may we meet again some day. I love you. |
