Sleepy Barred Owl

Sleepy Barred Owl

Amateur Photography is one of Gayle’s favorite hobbies.  She works with a Canon digital SLR camera, an EOS Rebel, and an assortment of lenses.  Some of her most enjoyable moments have been spent laying in the grass to snap photos of her flowers, and taking pictures of the many animals whose aquaintence she’s had the pleasure to make.

Her images are spread all over the web, so rather than reinvent the wheel, please enjoy visiting the following links:

Hope you enjoy the images!

The rotating images in the header of this site are also Gayle’s photos.

They are:

  • Kai, Saluki dog member of the Nastasi family
  • Sasha, Siamese cat member of the Nastasi family
  • Fawn, rescued by New York Wildlife Rescue, 2008
  • Great Horned Owl, educational permit bird cared for by wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin
  • Northern Harrier, educational permit bird cared for by wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin
  • Squirrel, raised and released from orphaned infancy by NYWRC’s “squirrel girl”, Darcy
  • Horses, playing in the snow at Red Maple Farm
  • Corgi dog, “Stormy”, who belongs to my friend Philippa
  • Black Swallowtail Butterfly on thistle flower

Do you have a blog, website, or gallery online of photos you would love to share? Animal and garden photos are especially welcome. Feel free to leave a comment below, with a link to your site! I’m always happy to exchange links!

All images on this, or any of the above, websites are ©Gayle P Nastasi and may not be used without the photographer’s express permission under the restrictions of copyright law.
