| Do you know why dogs are so quick to wag their tails and cats are so quick to purr? Even the ones that have been lonely, abused, and betrayed?Because, as is true of all animals, they were instilled with the distant awareness that no matter what the world shows them, they’re still deeply loved and needed, that their presence alone has made a difference, and that in just the shake of a leg, seemingly without reason or rhyme, everything can FANTASTICALLY change for the better. As is true of all people, except sometimes they tend to forget.
Purrfectly, The Universe |
[Oh yeah, they also instinctively believe in miracles.] |
Have I mentioned that I love tut.com, Mike Dooley and his daily Notes from the Universe? Yeah, I know … over and over and over again….
One of the reasons, among many, that Mike is my number one choice for Law of Attraction inspiration is his attitude towards animals. More than so many others, including his own inspiration, Seth, and the Abraham phenomenon which are both so popular, Mike appears to see animals as an intricate part of the equation.
Today’s Note really brought a smile to my face. I’ve recently relayed posts that are related to the thought; my recent issue of Creature Thoughts, relayed messages from Pree, and more. I love synchronicity … and seeing what the Universe had to share through Mike today really made my morning.
I’ve been working through The Artist’s Way again, and one reason I decided to do so, was because my view on the definition of “creativity” has broadened so much since I’ve been listening to Mike Dooley’s thoughts. Oh, I’m not saying he’s perfect … but one nice thing about Mike is that he recognizes that we each have a unique and wonderful definition of “perfect” that we can work toward.
What does perfect mean to you?
Do you feel that our animal friends are also working toward their own vision of “perfect”?
To me, “perfect” is something that, though I hope to get better and better, I also hope I’ll never quite attain. Why? Because as long as we are learning, growing, moving forward, life is exciting and interesting. To reach some highest, ultimate goal might get boring after a while!
The fun is in the chase (as my Salukis over the years would happily tell you). Catching the goal is great and wonderful, but the knowledge that there are always other goals out there to pursue is even better, still.
Or, maybe perfection is just that … a paradise where new adventures are always on the horizon, and all worries are left behind.
I haven’t been frequenting the TUT community as often as I used to … and I think I’ll get back to it. A weekly hour or two playing there, exploring the adventure, and maybe even purchasing a few treats to keep my inspiration levels up would be a nice reward. Don’t you think?
Would you like to join the adventure?
