![]() Pree Talks
Pree, November 2007 |
Moonlyte Potpourri PreePree, our seal tortie point Siamese, was born under Jessie's bed, the last kitten of Sachet's first litter to be born. From the moment she emerged, she knew she was where she belonged ... home. She took over as she grew, and we often refer to Pree as our "alpha dog" ... even the hounds love and respect her. She has a little gravelly voice that she uses frequently, and will hold long conversations with anyone who is willing to talk to her. Pree has attitude, but in a way that is delightful. Everyone who meets her remembers her, and she is the friend of many (both human and non-human) all over the world. She's worked with quite a few different animal communicators and loves being a part of that adventure. |
| PreePree is famous ... having recently been featured in Penelope Smith's Species Link magazine. The magazine ran a feature on lost animals, and Pree's story and photo were selected as a focus article for the Spring 2004 issue. We're all very proud of her, and Pree was very excited to know she was in such an important animal communication publication. An older version of the story published is on this website. Feel free to visit Moon Journey and read the tale of how Pree "went walkabout" for a whole month and came home on her fifth birthday. Pree's aptitude for the task, and her adventure as written up in the article, are a large part of why her mom Gayle is now a professional animal communicator. | ![]() Pree on the screen door

Motherhood Our Fen was the daddy of all Pree's kittens, and his long, lean show type combined with her "traditional" more rounded type gave us gorgeous, moderate babies that grew into beautiful adult cats. Being a tortie point, Pree produced standard colors, torties and red points of both sexes, so her babies were a true living rainbow. What? The kittens in the picture look all white? That's correct! All Siamese kittens are born pure white and begin to develop their colors after several days. Her mommy Sachet taught her to be a dedicated and loving momma. We so enjoyed having babies in the house, and they certainly gave us many hours of laughter and love. Pree so loved being a mommy that when we had her spayed, she actually became depressed and hid under the bed ... she'd never done that before. Our friend, animal communicator Janice, helped to bring Pree out of her melancholy mood. |

Family The picture on the right with Dancer actually has another family member in it if you look closely. That's Daddy they're laying on! |

![]() Sitting Pretty
|
Cute; and Smart, Too A cat who does tricks? Sure, why not? The dogs enjoy clicker training, and whenever Pree hears the clicker come out, she joins in. She sits along with the dogs, often right in line with them, and can sit pretty better than any of them. To her it's not "training", though, she's just playing a game -- and one that gets her a treat in the bargain! But her true wisdom lies not in tricks and clever maneuvers. It is most richly expressed when she is helping. If anyone in the house is hurt, sick, sore or sad, Pree is always right there. She always knows what spot to lie and purr upon, and never fails to make her loved ones feel better. She's a wonderful companion, a skilled conversationalist, and a true and loyal friend.
