Nastasi Family Pets

Our Precious Pree

Our Precious Pree

Our animals have always been an important part of our family. When my husband proposed, in fact, my response was, “Okay, but you have to take the animals, too.”

We started out as a Nastasi Family with Yoda, my precious heart-dog, the Siamese Linus, and dear Merlin, our black and white tuxedo cat who was nicknamed “Trouble”. Many have come and gone since … sadly, too many have gone in the past few years. Most of our dedication pages here, therefore, will be memorial pages.

These tributes can be found in the drop-down menu on the right side of the page, under the label “In Memory”.

The current members of our pet family are Kai the Saluki and our dear chocolate point Siamese kitty, Sasha. Sasha is now sixteen years old, and Kai is officially a “veteran”, as the dog show folks call pups seven and up. You may read their stories on the “Current Pets” pages of the same menu.

In addition to the cat and dog, we have a house full of birds. Stars and Stripes are rescued Starlings, and our rescued House Sparrow is French Fry. Watch for their entries soon!

As a wildlife rehabilitator, I’ll have various birds coming in and out all season, and I hope to keep you up to date on that activity in the Photos, Phlowers, Phur and Phun blog.

In addition to reading each of the animals’ pages, feel free to leave them a message in the comment field at the bottom of each page. Yes, those who’ve passed as well, if you wish.

Enjoy!
